Hello! Once installed the plugin in Jira by a Jira Administrator, all users will see in the header options in “Apps” a new 2 options called “DescTemplates!” and “NewIssue!”
First you must click in “DescTemplates!” to install the plugin in the Chrome or Firefox browser
After this, you can click in Jira in the header “Apps” and then “NewIssue!” to create new issues with a description template, save new templates of description fields , etc
Regards

Once the template is set up and I create the new issue using the template, the description field does not show the template content after creation

Hello! I’m trying just now and all works fine. Remember go to Apps → NewIssue! to create the issue in full screen in order to see the buttons of the description templates (below the description field).
See attached screenshots, regards!
